Fred Goldberg Collection

Fred Goldberg Collection

Our late member Dr. Eng. Fred Goldberg (1942/2016) had over 60 years creating several collections of which many have been exhibited at stamp shows and in museums such as the Fram Museum in Oslo, the Svalbard Museum, the Finnish Postal Museum and the Swedish Postal Museum.

The Polar Postal History Society present two of his exhibits, Arctic Expeditions and the Quest for the North Pole and Antarctic Mail from the Heroic Age as examples of the best polar postal history and as a tribute to Fred. Both exhibits were shown at the Monacophil 2015 exhibition and received gold medals.
